some say it's hard to get a visit visa for spouse, the reason being you have to show your ties back in your home country and you will return at the end of the specified visit period. Most of the cases are rejected. Good travel history helps, unfortunately nothing much as far as his travel history goes. Happened to read a post where someone said that he was able to get a visit visa for his wife who was in India while the PR was under process. He requested a 3 month visa to celebrate (reason being first bday celebration after marriage) and he gave a declaration and letters from both spouses stating that PR is under process and will return at the end of the 3 month period, will not break canadian immigration rules by overstaying. All other forms and docs including bank statements were submitted as well. But some of the other members say that visit visas are usually declined especially to Asians. Was kinda wondering should i spend money and give it a try or rather wait for the PR to be complete. Was checking the forum for new updates on visit visas, nothing to my knowledge.
