Hoping someone has an answer to my question! How can I track a the status of a visit visa application. Applied for a visit visa for my mum to come visit me in Canada about 7weeks ago but I have not seen nor received any update since biometrics was submitted so far. Confused and wondering if this can be tracked

No I haven’t and the country of processing is from Nigeria.

Any particular reason for delays? Just seems so long a process for a visit of few weeks. Is it just applications from Nigeria? I called the IRCC phone number but hit a deadlock with automated response that stated all online applications received after May 29, 2019 haven’t commenced processing.

Hi, did you apply in the month of may 2019 because most Application from the month of July got delayed due to change in processing time.
