Hello All,

I am here at Canada for the past 3 years. I did my Masters here and now working. I delivered a baby here.
Now I wanted to bring my mom. But her Visit visa was rejected as she din have travel history and finance.
I desperately wanted to see my mom as she din see by baby for almost 1 year.

I mentioned clearly in my letter that I will take care of my mother's expenditure and ticket but unfortunately it was denied 2 weeks ago.
I showed my bank account details which had 10,000$ and my husband had 15000$ in his account.

Now I am planning to reapply depositing 3 Lakhs in her account.
Is it advisable to put that in Fixed Deposit or I can show that money in her account alone without doing fixed deposit? Please advise.
I will also submit our house and land documents in English. Anything else I should submit to support her visit visa?
Can my mother apply immediately after getting ready with finance or should she wait for some more months..
Give me your suggestions to get Visit visa... I am really worried..

Thank you all.
Vinodini

The main applicant has to show she can afford the trip. Sponsor's funds are secondary for the main applicant.

Fixed deposit is an option, make sure to give full evidence on where the money is coming from and for what purpose. Also be sure to leave the money in the account for at leat three months.

Thanks for your reply. Will definitely show her income source.
Can I attach a to and fro flight ticket and apply in a month?
Is it advisable?

Thanks,
Vinodini

Yes you can.

It is not advisible. After a large deposit there needs to be some time as it might give the impression you are just feeding CIC what they want to see.

Oh ok thank you. I would better do a fixed deposit of 3 Lakhs and will try after some time.
Thanks for your thoughts.

i applied for my mother in law as my wife is pregnant, but got rejected 3 times. i even showed 4.5 lakh in her account but still rejected. each time they were giving different reasons. All they want to see that your mother goes back after the visit. so you need to prove that she has ties to the home country like assets, job... etc. Now I am applying for my parents with all the necessary documents and have my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your reply. She has farm and house there at India. I hope it will help.
My mother in law is here for the past one year I should send her back..
So I would mention in my letter clearly that she has assets that she should take care..
Will give a try...

Based on what reasons was her visit rejected?
Could you please tell me different reasons given to you?

first time they mentioned travel history and financial support to support her stay during the visit, then they said travel history and assets and finally they said I did not provide my notice of assessment as i was the host. first two times they did not ask for that.

Sure I would submit my payslips, bank statements, passport copy of me and my husband to them.
I will valuate my property and submit those documents too. Thanks for your reply.
