All those concerns are not an issue... but ok.

I think her concerns are a real issue because if her husband is working "illegally' by not complying with the requirements that his current work permit states, she is afraid that CIC will investigate/find out if he sends and invitation letter and they want to confirm where he works.

So far, nobody has answered her question. I haven't answered either because I don't know. I think that if he sends an invitation letter and doesn't mention anything about his work except that he is currently a foreign worker in Canada and wants to invite his wife, there should be no problem because CIC will review HER case to allow her to come in. I have no idea if this will be the case for sure, though. And I would be worried too.

Very very real concerns.

Yeah that would be the case. So no concern at all.

?

Are you saying you know for sure they won't investigate? And they won't mind about his working? If you do, then why don't just tell her that?

You absolutely got my point and my concerns.i was also planning the way you are thinking. My husband will just send an invitation letter stating that he is a foreign worker attaching his pasport with visa. I think you are right as well that they will only look into my case and not my husband's since i am the one applying for visitora visa. Anyway,i am equipped with much documents to support my employment and my financial statement also can be a big plus as well.i will let you know if my application will be approved.

I am thinking to submit in person so that i can submit other documents that would really prove that i will come back aftr my visit like pay slip, approved vacation request from our nurse manager.

Hi everybody,

Sorry for the delay in my replies as I am not following this thread till I got an e-mail about a reply to my post.

I am not a representative( legally), but I helped them in preparing the application. After a month and few days, I went to my local MP office in Toronto, ON, canada, to find the reason why they are holding the passports way past the average processing times, actually in the MPs office there is her secretary, who specializes in immigration matters and that person comes only once a week so the receptionist asked us to comeback the following week. so went on the scheduled day and he called somebody, dont know where, but the person on the other side was telling all the information we furbished during application process (means she got access to all the information about the file in india and even there is no file number as it is visitor visa) and the MPs secretary told the person he got contact with are very high profile officers i.e in CIC ministers office. The officer asked 1 week time and said if no decision was made at the end of week asked to contact her again, and I didnt need to do that as they posted passports the next business day.

If any body wants to contact local MP office they should contact their own as they ask your address proof to make sure you live in their constituency.

This is about my case

Yup. Several cases have reported that only when the one giving the invitation letter and stating they will provide funds and when the documentation sent is not easily and obviously authenticable then they will try to go and verify it.

In this case you are exploring they will look at his status (worker) expired but with a work permit on process (implied status) therefore he is legally in Canada. If push comes to shock then they will call his previous employer (the one he is no longer working anymore) and confirm he is not working with them, which is the expected answer.

Usually when OP wants me to elaborate they ask for it or MP me.

If not then they get the quick, concret and best help I can give.
