Visit visa from India

Hi I wish to apply visit visa to canada, After worked in singapore for two years, I'm just returned to India and currently no work. I have bank balance of around 4 lakhs and land worth 35 lakhs in my name and have family and children in india. If my friend in canada invites me with accommodation support for two weeks, will they provide me visit visa? I have visited malaysia, indonesia, Germany, dubai. I worked in Malaysia, Oman, singapore. I'm planning to spend for two weeks. Please advise.

On what visa did you travel to Germany? You have a spouse and children that would stay back in India? You not having a job could hurt you as they may think you are coming here to work or look for work. Also how soon did you return to India? Not being in India long enough could show that you do not have strong ties to India and would stay elsewhere if given the chance.

Thanks for your reply, i travelled to germany on conference visa. my family will stay here in india.

The chances are not very good. You have not established strong ties to India and have not travelled to countries that require a visa like Canada except for business. You need to prove that you can afford to pay for your visit based on your own funds even if your friend will be supporting you and that would require using a large portion of your savings. In general it doesn’t masks a ton of sense to spend so much money on a 2 week trip to Canada if you are a married father with 2 children.
