Hey Guys,

I'm a Canadian PR holder and need to move to US to visit my cousin this winter and during new year. Please let me know which visa(B1/B2) and other documents needed for my visit.Also can i walk down near Niagara and move to US with a valid visa?If so how? Appreciate your help!!

1. You apply on line for a US visitor visa, then you make an appointment for an interview. Pick the office from the list, the instructions are there: https://www.usembassy.gov/canada/
2. Note you can only visit the US not "live there"

Become permanent resident Canada, doesnt mean go freely abroad as Canadian citizen. Again u have to refer to your passport. I (Canada PR) went to USA with my husband- Canadian citizen, he free to go but i need to apply visa 1st

Well that means you can cross the border if you have a Canadian PR card along with valid US visit Visa.

The point i would like to say is.. holding Canadian PR doesnt mean, you can go to or live in USA easy- depend to the passport you holding on at the moment.

If i werent Canadian PR but having USA Visa, surely i can go to US
