Hi,

I am applying for my parents/aunt visitor visa. The application and documents are ready with them. Could you please let me know if the documents can be sent to New Delhi visa office or to the VAC?

Point no.5 in the below link shows that the application has to be sent to VAC or submit online. I remember applying for my inlaws-visitor visa in 2014, and they had sent the application to New Delhi visa office. Could someone clarify that its still possible to send the documents to New Delhi? If so, could you please share the link and the address to send the documents?

All replies highly appreciated.

Hi,

They can either apply to the VAC which is nearest to the city where they reside..... or they can apply online.

They do not have to send their applications to the New Delhi visa office

All the best :)

Thankyou.

So, the option to send to New Delhi visa office does not exist anymore?

Thanks again..

If I'm not mistaken.... if you submit multiple applications through a representative (for eg; a travel agent or someone appointed as a representative) or if one applicant submits the applications on behalf of all applicants then this can be done between 9 am-12 noon. From 12 pm - 4pm, an applicant must submit his/her application in person.

It's best to submit the visa application yourself

This means, there is no option to send the documents to VAC, or the visa office anymore. For eg: People from Kerala will have to travel to Chennai ? It was way easier earlier to send the applications to the visa office :(

Once the application is approved and passport is submitted, how much time these guys take in returning the passport ?
