I think they both are same...
Biometrics correspondence letter is nothing but letter states that our biometrics havebeen received and valid till 10 years for temprary resident visas...
let me know what is BVL also

My GCKey profile metions that my biometrics are valid till March 6, 2030, but haven't received any update. Is this normal ? I've sent a webform and theyjust reply back with a generic message that my application is being processed.

If you submitted your biometrics before, you won't receive any update. So it's normal.

Yes submitted my application online on 3rd and biometrics the next day.
