I got approved for a tourist visa, visa validity is from October 30, 2012 to January 5, 2013. The invitation letter I submitted in the embassy stated that I am planning to stay in canada from Dec. 3 to 23, 2012. Is it possible to stay longer than the date stated in the invitation letter. Because I am planning to get a return ticket on dec. 27 instead of dec. 23.

Hi Guys -1 need help assistance for my friend in Canada and I hope to get some opinions whether she should apply or not.
The 3 reasons to visit to Canada.
1-My friend is applying for her sister to visit Canada because she having a baby 2013.
2- My friend is having a grand opening of her house in Canada in 2013.
3-Also her sister is interested to visit Canada and she has no intention to live in Canada.
4-Her sister in Pakistan is 40+ years old and not married and don't have the job either. also her whole family is in Canada except her.
5-she is living with her uncle and aunt in Pakistan and they are old and she will go back to take care of them.
She is financially strong in Pakistan and owns a house and have PKR 20 Lakh or ($19,000 dollar) in her bank account in Pakistan to show that she has enough money for her visit.
6-My friend in Canada is working full time permanently and have enough funds to support her sister in Canada.
7-If she buys the return ticket to support her application and she did not get the visa can she gets some refunds from travel agency in Pakistan.

She is confused at this moment-whether it is good idea to apply or not.
Please help.

Hello,

I tried sending you a private mail but can't figure out how to. I just have a few questions and hopefully you can help me out.
First, I am inviting my sister to visit Canada. I will be giving birth in April 2013 and would want my sister to help me with the baby while I finish my studies. I am a permanent resident, married to a Canadian. We would want her to come from March to July. She is a university student in the Philippines, 22 year old, never been married, and have not work because she goes to school. I wonder if she, also, will be approved for the visa. What do you think? We will be paying for her entire expenses. My husband and I make decent money to be able to afford her accommodations and other expenses. My most important question is: WHAT AMOUNT TO PUT IN THE "FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY (CAD)? it is one of the question from the application. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you declare? What was your source/s for this fund? Was it your own savings or assets? or is it from your invitee? If we know what amount and we will put it on the application, will the visa office ask my sister for proof of this fund? or is it enough that we will swear on our letter that we will pay for her expenses?

I hope you can help me answer all these questions. I will also appreciate any suggestions that you think will be helpful in our process. Thank you so much!!!!
