Hi,
I am in Canada on a W-1 visa and am employed. My wife is currently pregnant (3 months) and I would like to know if there is a possibility of her coming and having a baby here? And of course staying after a delivery?

I work in Noc C ..I do have the money for the delivery
Since you have a NOC C role, your wife can apply for a visitor visa that will allow her to visit Canada temporarily. She does not have access to a visa that will allow her to remain in Canada with you while you work.

That means that after delivery she needs to go back to her native country? What is the longest period of this type of visitors visa?

Generally the longest someone is allowed into Canada on a TRV is six months. However it's possible that the CBSA officer may only allow a shorter visit when the person arrives. You can apply to extend the stay from within Canada - but no guarantee of approval.

Note that depending on your country of residence / origin - your wife may have to get an x-ray to be approved for a TRV. Many doctors do not recommend x-rays for pregnant women so you should consult with your doctor if a medical is required.

I hope you have significant reserves. If things go wrong, it can get very expensive, very quickly. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

And adding to the above, having the baby here will in no way expedite you and your spouse staying here long term, if that was the plan
