Visa validity date

i would like someone to please help me access this situation.(Canadian study visa)
I got my passport stamped few days ago.the date on the stamped as well as my letter of introduction shows (10th February - 24th June 2023) but my school resumes late August 2023 which means my visa expires 2 months before the start date of my school.
could this be a mistake, if yes what do I do?

So your permit expires in October? If so when you enter Canada, extend your study permit.

i am now about to start my study(first time)I just Got my study visa and it expires 2months before the start date(of my new LOA).
i defered my program from January to September 2023
the visa expires in June 2023.
i want to know if I can go before the visa expires or it’s a problem.

Your permit is based on starting in January. Did you not inform IRCC about deferral to September? If so you should have.

But when in the process? Prior to getting the study permit or after? The issue is that CBSA may not let you enter Canada because a) they may want proof that you are studying for the program you were approved for on your study permit with the original start date, and b) if CBSA accepts deferral they don’t want students entering so early before the program (usually you would enter end of July/beginning of August). You would need to show proof of funds to live for 2+ months without working, tuition paid, course registration etc.

Honestly don’t know what will happen. Have you got any response from webforms? You didn’t change program or DLI? You just deferred.

1)After I did my medicals (before I got the study permit)
a)I already deferred the course for the original start date
b)I already paid part tuition, I can show proof of funds to live for the required time before school reopens.
Nothing changed except the date of the program
