Hi All,

I would be glad if any one could answer this query. I received my visa on 6th August'2013. My Passport expires on 7th October '2014. I always had a doubt that my visa will only be until the same date despite i am going for a 2 year course ( MBA - International business from university of Regina)

1. The visa stamp on my passport says it expires on 7/10/2014 as is the expiry for my passport. however the validity of visa on the letter from high commission says 30th Nov'2015. Why is there a difference in visa expiry and validity. is it due to the expiry date of my passport only.

2. I applied for student visa however the letter says

" Dear X,

Your application to study or work in Canada has been approved. You may now travel to Canada."

Why does it say that I am allowed to WORK

3. Visa type is Permit-SP/ Permit-PE
I understand that SP would be student permit but what is PE>

Regards
Nikhil
