Hello everyone,

In a week's time, I have an appointment for citizenship test and 4 days later, date for the oath. I have a visa which is in Arabic. Is there a need to get that certified translated for the officer on the test date? I applied for PR card renewal for which I had to get a translation, the original of which was sent with the application. Should I use the copy of the translation as evidence or fork out another $100 some bucks to get a new translation? BTW, the PR card application has also been approved and I have a letter to pick it up in July.

Appreciate the help!

You can take the copy with you and inform them if they ask original already with CIC
and given at time of PR renewal and my PR is already approved and have to collect
in July. Please keep that CIC letter of PR renewal with you.

Get a new translation to be safe. The officer may want to keep it so they won't take a copy.
