VISA TOO LATE

hello friends
i have applied my visa in april
recieved a medical request after one month from embassy of isl
last month i sent email to embassy for my status
in reply they said ur application is in process please wait
2 days back i again fax them for my status
but no reply
i talked with canadian embassy call centre gal
she told me we mostly gives visa one week b4 the classes starts
iam worrying about my visa
it is very difficult to find ticket now
anybody going to concordia university

-No the policy of giving visa one week before is not always true. It varies embassy to embassy. However, most of the embassies maintain the time period when they receive an application. For example, if they receive certain applications on April 1st, they will process those first then start processing applications those were submitted on May 1st.

well u applied in April by now u should have got ur visa. but anyways best of luck and pray for me also inshAllah u waited alot now wait 1 more week inshAllah u gonna hear some good news.

I am in peshawar yah i am stil waiting damn its hard to wait for months and u waited so much 4 months .... i've seen ppl who applied in june got visa and u did in april still no visa:S i wonder how much time mine application will take i applied in late july so wish me luck.


talk with ur uni and ask them till which date u can join uni for this semester .... i can join till 20th september so i am not panic yet

and they told me that
they will send all the passports back till satuday

I am going to concordia university also my masters classes in electrical and computer engineering will start from 5th January 2009 still visa in process.
