Hello group,

Here is my case. I graduated from the Canadian University last year and due to some technicality error , my permit got delayed. So, I came back to India and currently I got my post grad work permit approved but my student visa has expired so how do I go about the visa from India? What kind of visa would apply to me? Apply for TRV (Temporary Resident Visa).
Go to your MyCIC account (create one if you don't have one already) and then start a new application, answer the questions correctly and you'll be directed to apply for TRV.

I am not aware of your condition but Once you have applied for PGWP then you can stay in Canada. Moreover you can start working in case you have applied for your PGWP...Its not necessary to have the approved PGWP to start working....You just need to apply for it and then can stay and work....j

Ok, thank you but I would be looking for work after I reach Canada, so how would I go about applying the visa because I was said that under RETURNING WORKER HOLDING A VALID WORK PERMIT, I have to specify the Canadian employer details so am just confused .

You may leave the employer section blank....
