Visa stamping outside Canada

Hello friends,
I am March, 2014 applicant, after long wait finally I received passport request today. I have few questions and I will be very grateful if someone help me with this. My wife and son, they live in India, and I already emailed to CIC regarding change of visa office for my wife and son.

Can I submit my passport to CIC Ottawa office now? or should I wait for the response from CIC?

Please help me with this

You can submit yours. And when DH get back to you regarding your wife and son they can submit then. Thats what i did.

It took 5 days for me. But time can be 2 days to 30 days!!!!
