I received the email on 8th April '19 from High commission of Canada in India to submit the passports to VFS for stamping. I stay in Jakarta, Indonesia. Contacted VFS office in Jakarta on 9th April 2019 and submitted the passports of self and my wife along with all the required documents needed. VFS Jakarta issued the receipt along with Tracking no. On 15th April, I received e mail that these are under process with IRCC.
Almost 30 days have passed but no intimation of the collection of passport. if i check the status on line, it says IRCC received documents on 15th April and it is in process. I am wondering and confused why such a delay and what happens if there is an emergency travel required. In fact I need to travel urgently. if i chat on the help line, they also says under process but no indication of collection time. Please help to guide on this.
