visa stamping in person after online processing possible?

i have sent my online application on 15th April. still waiting on the request to send passport of approved. my question - if approved, is it possible to get the stamping done in Seattle in Person? it seems too late now to send passports.

they are still processing applcations submitted on 12th April and there is a strike going on :'(
is Seattle office closed even for stamping?

i need to fly on 27th June to Seattle and drive from there to Vancouver.
any help appreciated.

1. No, Seattle is been closed for about a year.
2. If the VO is on strike, who would stamp your passport anyhow?

thanks so much for thwe reply. i was thinking, may be i will fly to LA and go there in person with our passports if we get approved. any chances that is allowed in LA?

If you cannot submit your application online, please see our mailing instructions.
We do not accept Work Permit applications. All new Work Permit applications must be submitted online or at the visa section of the Consulate General of Canada in New York.
Passports and original documents will no longer be returned in-person. All passports and documents will be returned by mail. Refer to the Mailing Instructions.
The visa office is open to the public Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
