VISA Stamping in India

Hi,

I am final year Computer Science student @ UBC.
My study permit is valid till Jan 2021 but VISA has expired.
I applied VISA but due to slow processing (COVID 19), not yet received.

I am going to India due to lockdown and will follow last few subjects online.
By the time, VISA is approved, I will not be in Canada.
Can I get VISA stamped in India.

You can get your visa stamped anywhere in the world where vfs service is available..

One more minor clarification..
- I am in Vancouver and applying VISA extension on the basis that I am in Canada.
- But likely, I will go to (Mumbai) India in next 1-2 months when either evacuation or regular flight options available as UBC is closed.
- Therefore I can not reach to embassy @ Vancouver for stamping, once VISA is approved.
- Can the visa be transferred to Mumbai and stamped @ Mumbai?

PS : I have Work Permit valid till Jan 2021

Hey Deepak, did you get your study visa stamped? And from India or from inside Canada? Would you be able to provide some details as I am also sailing in the same boat.
