Update: 20-Jun-2014

Today my PP status on VFS site is showing as " Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 20/06/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre " . Today is the 3rd day ( Had submitted my PP on 17-Jun at local VFS Office).

On Saturday and Sunday, VFS office remains closed. Hope i get the Passport on Monday

Kudos to New Delhi VO. They really are the quickest

Ashra, I believe you applied through VFS Hyderabad?
I am waiting for my VO change approval. Going by the current timelines looks like it will come in July 2nd week.
Hows the service at VFS Hyd? What documents do they ask and how much they charge? I am gonna apply for my wife and me. I guess I will have to go with an authorization letter from my wife(as she will not accompany me) to submit and collect passports on her behalf

Hey, please find below comments:

1. No, i have not applied thru VFS HYD. But it hardly makes any difference be it HYD or MUM or any other city for that matter. Once you submit, you will get your PP with a week.

2. List of Documents: *Original PPR Email (for Ottawa) * Another PPR Email (For New Delhi) * 2 Passport Size Photo for each Applicant * PP for each applicant * 596INR including Taxes(Email and Tracking Services included) * Cover Letter ( Optional )

3. Authorization: To submit the passport, there is no Authorization required. But yes, to collect the passport, you will require authorization

As per the trend, I think it's taking 3 weeks, So you might be getting a reply next week..
You husband still waiting for a reply from CIC to submit his passort to OTTAWA.

I am in the same Scenario and thinking to submit my Passport next week with a cover letter saying that I requested CIC to arrange my Wife's Visa printing in NEW DELHI and just print my Visa here.

Cic mailed my husband on 5th june to submit his pp and mine in ottawa but i being in india, cannot send my pp outside through courier,so he sent a mail for vo change.He sent his pp to ottawa on 6th june.When did you send mail for vo change to cic??i think you should wait for mail from cic.Cic will intimate CHC New delhi for your visa stamping.

As Davis correctly mentioned, now a days trend is for 3 weeks time. Today you completed 2 Weeks .. Just ONE more to go buddy

Hold on to it... Once you will receive the response, all the agony... will cease to exit. trust me on that

So, you are saying your Husband submitted his PP to ottawa already? did he get his PP back with stamp?

I sent email on Jun 18 to CIC to transfer my Wife files only to New Delhi. I am thinking to send my PP to otttawa next week.

Congrats again! yes that was very quick! Mine is still being processed and i submitted mine on the 13th. Kudos to New Delhi visa office,that means people there are very efficient.
