Hi all,

I was wondering as to when do we request Ottawa office to allow our passport submission in New Delhi office?
Is it when they send us PPR or anytime after medicals is good?
Also, do we suggest that we would like to submit it within country (New Delhi).
OR do we ask them for further course of action since PP is a prohibited item to be mailed overseas in India.
A sample request email format from successful candidates will be highly appreciated.

For stamping at delhi 4 working days only..

Over all processing time from date of applction field is 7.5 months

Couple of days back I got Passport request for providing the Visa.
Unfortunately since I am in India I sent an email to CIC explaining the situation and requested them to allow me to submit the passport to New Delhi.

Hope they will give me a positive response.

I am in a similar kind of situation. But I am in Canada and my family is in India. Is it possible for my family to get their PR visa stamped in India, while I stamp in Canada.?

or is it possible to get TRV for my family to get to Canada so that we can get our passports stamped togetther in Canada?

The validity of visa is exactly a year from the date of medical examination.

It took little more than 2 weeks, though it stamped on 14th march it was dispatched only on 28th march and i received it on 29th March.

Finally, received stamped passport and COPR back today ;D . Feeling relieved. They took approximately 12 days to process.

Hi Friends,

I am in a similar situation. There is confusion on how to get the passports stamped for me and my spouse.

Currently, am in Australia and DHL/Fedex are ready to ship my passport to Canada for visa stamping but my spouse is in India and they have refused to courrier his passport to Canada, it being illegal to send passports out of Indian borders.

Is there a possiblity for my spouse to get PR visa stamped in India, while I get it done in Canada?

Experts please share your views.
