Visa Requirements if traveling through Montreal

I'm immigrating to Toronto. I wonder if I can take a flight that stops over at Montreal for a couple of hours. I'm apprehensive if I face any hassles out there. Appreciate your quick response.

As long as you have proof of onward transportation out of Quebec, then you will be fine to have your "landing' in Montreal.
