Hi all,

My visa got rejected saying other reasons:

-Not satisfied proposed studies are reasonable in light of your level of establishment.

What that actually means?

Thanks

1.5 years worked as a sales executive(just for time pass)

Applied for Pilot Training in Canadian Flight Centre, Vancouver

Applied from VFS Abu Dhabi UAE

Y didnt u study aftr 12th? U have got decent grades. People usually go for college right after 12th and den work. Maybe the visa office is not convinced that pilot training is something you are really interested in. You worked in sales for 1.5 yrs and al of a sudden you want to go for pilot training. If you show some kind of passion for your proposed study in your sop you can be accepted next time.

Yeah I know...that's the biggest mistake in my life. I worked there just for pocket money. Any other choice? I won't give up. I will try again.

I am not sure I have the answer to that. But if its oly pilot training thatyou are keen on y not try somewhere else ? Otherwise you could take up some certificate course related to this and then try again for the training.

One of my friend in this forum said to try again from India. I also have back up plans. I got admitted to an aviation college in New Zealand. Only the thing is I don't have any friends or relatives there. I will try once again from India as you said to write an SOP about my plan.

Thanks

It's advisable you apply for certificate training in piloting in your home country, then you can be sure of your Canadian study permit approval.

The duration is 2 years. It is a professional course. There's no degree or certificate for that. Just International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) certified license of Canadian Aviation Authority (CAA) issued from Transport Canada.

If you are set on this, then research some more about this certification. Try to find out how useful this will be for your future.

This is not the problem with course which I choose. They indirectly says that I'm not rich to do this course otherwise they would have mention ' previous studies' in the refusal letter.

Sorry to hear this bro..

No, you have the financial means but the vo can't see the reason why you're directly taking a 2-year pilot course after having 1.5 years of sales experience. Otherwise, he would have stated in the refusal letter the reason of financial incapability.

VO did not mention "previous studies" because you haven't done any bachelors or diploma that is linked to the Pilot course. That's why people here are recommending that you return to your home country and take a program where the Pilot course you opt for can be pursued afterwards.

Hope this helps
