Unfortunately ‘Canada West University’ is the worst of its kind and too favorite of Indian Consultants who get heavy commission per semester from CWU. You better avoid it. Rest is your choice.

now i got much info about this so called university of canada WASTE (OOP'S ITS WEST)..can i know vancover island university and fdu ,which is also in BC, are better than Canada West????

Hi,

If you want to opt out of Vancouver Island University and FDU, you better look for Vancouver Island University (all of its courses qualify for Post Graduate Work Permit),

In case of FDU (only 4 of its courses qualifies for Post Graduate Work Permit)

1. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
2. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
3. Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies
4. Master of Administrative Science

Still I encourage you to search for other Universities in BC. Keep in mind, www.google.com is your best friend, not your consultant. So search online for all possible options.

can i know why they are suffering ??? no-part job's??,but my consultancy people said the chance's of visa rejection is high under SPP if we have more backlog's....

its not a problem with part time jobs but college its not a big university and more over dont xpect a lot from it.

Seems like so much scam and fraud goes on over there in terms of immigration to Western countries. These consultants are just ripping people off and teaching them ways to scam the Canadian government, trust me the government has noticed this. That's why they reject these kind of applications.

Also, i wanted to say that I live in Canada and have gone to University here. I've never heard of "Canada West University" or some of these other schools, these are obvious bogus schools no one is going to get a job after graduating from these so called "schools".

The government should only allow students to come to Canada via legitimate Universities, other than that you are just inviting consultants to prey upon innocent students, not only are they allowing students to get scammed but also the government itself is getting scammed.

Dont make sense at all. It is the student who is getting ripped off as the consultant is providing such info to apply - It is the student who then go through the trauma of being rejected when they were qualified enough to apply to other colleges/universities with a fair chance of approval. How is the goverment getting scammed when they get the fees to apply for the study permit and end up rejecting the case ?

Aint it even funny that the goverment has listed the SSP colleges/Uni that are approved - Lol ! Canada west university is listed among them and you have never heard of it - eh ?

I saw a recent news article that the government will begin to crack down on bogus colleges, and is also drawing up rules to make sure students who come here are actually attending classes etc..this will ensure the integrity of the system.

woh ! so the goverment has only started to nail down bogus colleges that they approved and is now contained in the SSP list?? - high time they do it and stop ripping off international students - the students pay thrice the tution fees when compared to the canadians so deserve a quick action from the goverment - if not an explanation why they did not investigate before releasing an approved list.
Looking at it from a consultants view - he is only suggesting from a mass list that the goverment approved so hey, who is the scammer here ?
