I applied first on 21st Nov and got a rejection stating
My prof
HSC 2010 59%
Worked as a Content writer for 1 year
Then 3 years in a call center
I got admission in GBC for HR undergraduate diploma 2YRS
Showed abt cad$ 40000
Paid first semester fees and gic

Other reasons:
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in the light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, gap in studies, employment, level of establishment, future prospects and plans..

Then I applied again and got the same reason. And also a reason saying I would not leave Canada after the end of my stay.. Reason: purpose of visit.

What should I do???
Please help :(

Yes, there is a general saying that when you apply for visa your gap in studies should not be more than 5 years.

If I were you, I would probably show that I am prepared to take up the HR UG Dip course as I hv already worked at a company as a HR assistant or studied a short-term dip course in HR.

Think and decide. You can very well get your visa stamped for your May intake. Try for a job as a HRA.

Good luck.

i think u should work hard on your sop , why that program ? here relate your past work experience to your chosen program . why that college ? why canada? also about your job prospects in your home country after completing program? i guess you already went 2 times with these points , but VO didnt convinced with your reasons..make it strong..apply for CAIPS notes , so that u can get exact reason behind your refusal and you can proceed acc to that..

Well said. Exactly, as Mr. Varma has stated try and include HR responsibilities that you help in your current position. Clearly map your answers as a subtle response to their reasons for rejection. Get an acknowledgement from your company's HR Head or whomsoever you report to. May be with that you may reapply and get a visa. Worth a try.

Ok thank you for your replies.
I have some of my friends who has exactly the same profile but he applied in a colg in Alberta and got the visa approved is there any difference or a better chance in applying in a province like Alberta or manitoba rather than Toronto?? I will b applying again for Sept intake I have already got a job as an HRA just this month so will add that experience as well the next time but still sceptical whether I should change the province or no??

Please help with my query

Happy for you and glad that you have an offer as a HRA :)

Yes, take up the job and apply for a short course at a nearby collegeor at a Distance Uni or an online course. It will be the best answer for your 5 year gap issue.

Pros n cons: If it is an online course it will allow you to gain your HRA experience as well which is an added competitive advantage.

Try and apply for May 2015!!!

Province.... Yup, Alberta is a bigger one and the population density is quite scarce hence there are better opportunities yet with respect to Toronto, it is a proven place for Asian migration from the existing stats.

Whatever the province may be ultimately its your performance that will secure you prosperity in ur career or ur PR appln.. Think well, take some time and decide..

Good luck!
