Visa rejected in past. LoE needed?

Hi everyone,

I am in process of replying to my ITA. I have uploaded all the docs and I am little confused on what should I do for this condition.

My wife's work permit and business visa was rejected by Canada in 2014. Now under statutory questions we have answered YES to the questions regarding this. Should we attach a LoE for the same or should we just submit our application and wait in case they ask for details.

Any past experience on this will be highly appreciated.

You definitely should explain that it was just a Work permit refusal, not something else.
Also state it was Canadian, they can check that of course.

So yes, use a letter of explanation.
