Hi again Harsh, thanks for the candid info man !!
I will def consult a pro regarding the refugee status passport however can you please assure me whether I have to show Bank Statement or something besides GIC & Tuition Fee payment DONE !

if you have a healthy statement, and source of funds to back it up , lyk employment papers/ITR's sure put it no probs , a heathy statement and a nice ITR from ur sponsor does increase home ties...it shoes ur sponser(better if parents) are atleast settled in india in a gud job :)

@Bali.. sorry to hear it bro.

But lets see what can be done now. Embassy expects that you have living expenses and have funds to support 1 year education.

so.. ur Expenses are taken care by GIC, and as u have already paid 1 semester's fees all you need is to show 1 more semester's fees, so nbo need of showing 10 lakhs in ur account.

and as far as documentation goes.. make sure you attach affadevit of support from ur parent's including ITR, and Bank statments.

And from your side, a resume, Statement of purporse clearly indicating why this course matches your profile (dropping out from your current course, how its suits your dream)and why you want to pursue it from this particular college. (This information you can get from your college website, their latest achivements and details about your course).

and in the mean while you can ask college whats the refund process and how much will be deducted, inform them that your visa is rejected and you are going to apply again.

Hope for the best and keep a positive attitude.

It's NOT ABOUT EXPENSES, the rejection is probably due to his poor education profile. Rest everything is perfect, the main issue is you dropped a course that created the impact on visa and your 12th and 10th marks are very low.
The best thing is to do is to write a Strong SOP by explaining
1- Why you scored less in 10th and 12th!
2- Why you dropped the course
3- Why you are going to Canada

Explain the above 3 and re apply!
Getting a canadian VISA with a poor educational profile is difficult, that's what i got to know from the people in this forum.

Anyways don't loose hopes and more over there are hell a lot of countries left :)

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND REPLIES
I AM GOING TO RE APPLY FOR VISA NEXT WEEK
BUT I AM CONFUSED ABOUT SOP PLEAS HELP ME WITH THAT
I WANT TO TELL THEM MY CURRENT STUDY IS RELATED TO THAT WHICH I'VE APPLIED FOR
AND I APPLIED IT FOR I DONT WANT TO WASTE TIME HEAR BECAUSE I AM NOT GETTING PRACTICAL MODULES AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE,
I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM BELIVE THAT I'LL LEAVE CANADA AFTER MY COURSE IS DONE!!
PLEASE HELP I'VE WRITTEN SOME LINES PLEASE MAKE ME CORRECT THEM IF ANYTHING GONE WRONG

Statement of Purpose

Academic Profile:

While perusing class 12th, I realized my passion for Film making and Broadcasting. I believe I have a good understanding of the subject, which has been further enhanced with the course module covering areas of Television Broadcasting as well.

This spurred the urge in me to carve a niche for myself in the same field, which in turn demand my grip over the subject. And this will perpetually help me in achieving desired goals in life.

Why Broadcast-Television.

While in class 12th , I realized my passion for Film making and Broadcasting.
Hence, I enrolled in such a program here in India But I was unable to get International Exposure required for this profession.
The mounting competition among the international and domestic corporations has laid down new rules of the game. Therefore, I am confident in getting good job offers on my return to India as Bollywood is one the world's biggest Cinema industry & the new academic/professional skills that I hope to acquire at Canada.

My objective for a “Under Graduate Certificate Broadcast-Television” is to get involved in such a course which could help me in achieving my goal. I believe that a career in such a field in an intellectually stimulating academic environment will offer me an excellent way to contribute my bit to the life long process of development and dissemination of knowledge.

I am fully aware of the kind of dedication and hard work needed, and I am confident of meeting the challenges.
----------------------------------
I WANNA ADD ABOVE MENTIONED THINGS BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO ADD AND WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT.

** Pursuing.

Not criticizing.
But still i'm afraid that you'll face rejection.
If you're so concerned about this field, they will only issue visa with good profile and best colleges like Vancouver Film School.

Canada is not all good for Film School.
So they may turn down visa to such students.

Don't rush
Do some research and then apply.
Documents like SOP which is optional won't grant you visa.

Hope you understand.

Good Luck.

I never meant any of the sayings to hurt you ! and it's good to know about your mamu!

Just a suggestion but you can try for some other program/course of study and switch to the film school of your choice once you land. Perhaps apply to the same course as your friend who got his visa.

That's why they are rejecting. They can understand your motive.
Not discouraging you.
But you need to act smartly.
And never compare your profile with others.
If your friend got visa in such bad profile, Then why you got rejected ?

PEACE

you could re apply for more then 10 times. they will take your application.
