Hello everyone!

Need your help my mom's visa application refused again for the third time. I dont know what to do? Reason of refusal :

1. Im not satisfied that you have insufficient funds, including income and assets to carry out your stated purpose in going to canada or to maintain yourself while in canada and to effect your departure.

- we have provided her bank statements (Php 194,000), property (land title), business.

2. You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your/yours host income and asset.

- as a host we provide our bank statement (cad3,000), t4.

What can we do if we want to re apply her again? What documents we need to show to support her trip for 3 weeks.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

For someone to be refused due to finances despite having strong bank statements, that usually means someone has been putting money into her account? Did you or anyone deposit money into her account?

Is your T4 low? You should be showing recent pay slips instead, because it will show you're currently employed. Do note that being refused 3x will make it very hard to be approved again.

This is very frustrating, because the $6,000 she has in the bank is more than enough to support herself for a three-week visit to Canada.

I'm just guessing, but maybe a T4 isn't specific enough about your income *now* as opposed to last year. Maybe they would want to see recent pay slips for you.

Sometimes, if there's a way to apply for a visa at a different visa office, that might work. You should ask if any Filipinos have been successful that way after being rejected by the Manila office.

We usually send money to her account for the past months. T4 is more or less 36k. So its not good if we reapply her again coz we wanted her to accompany us when we go back to canada.

Our 1st and 2nd application is from the visa office here in the philippines and the 3rd is online application. We include in her application the notice of assesment total of 36k.

The amount of money in her bank is not the problem, it's the source of the money. It doesn't really show strong ties to her country if she's getting money from you rather than by herself through a job or business at home.

Also by not showing recent pay slips, you're not showing that you're currently employed. T4 doesn't mean much, it could mean you made $36K in 6 months, then had no job the rest of the year till now. You could've at least included a letter from your employer showing you're currently working and what your hourly wage was. $3000 bank account between the both of you is pretty low.

And as mentioned before, being refused 3x will make it extremely hard to be approved again.

The refusal letter didn't cite ties to the home country, only insufficient income and assets or insufficient evidence of it. That being said, it could be that that is really what is in the VO's mind, even though he didn't write that.

- she has savings for herself she is depositing money from her business at home. What can you advice to do now? Is it ok to apply her again or Not?

I would say do not apply again, it would likely just be another refusal, also since because you yourself are still unable to demonstrate you have stable and current employment.

Can you apply for your mother's GCMS notes? They might have more information about the VO's concerns.

My husband is currently employed right now he has one fulltime and two part time work. We can provide his payslip.

What is GCMS notes?

They're internal CIC notes about a file. It takes about 30 days to get them. Sometimes there will be more detailed reasons for a refusal.
