Which country?
Did you show enough assets? You need to convince the VO that you will return to your country after completing your studies.

How did you demonstrate your mother's funds? Did you include a letter from her or affidavit confirming she would be supporting your studies?

Please

Please am trying to reapply...what should I do
There was a recent post by somebody who had enough funds in his father's account but the notes said that "there was a large deposit made recently in the acct and the funds may have been borrowed only for the sake of showing for the study permit application". Not sure if this will be applicable to you... if there was a large deposit made recently then you should wait for 4-6 months and then reapply.

Is 3.5 months enough time? Mid January deposit and 1st May application filing (tentative)

depends if your mother just transferred from one of her own accts to her another acct then you can explain because its her own money that was transferred from one acct to another.

I think you mistook me for the original poster. My situation is as follows: My father has 30000 CAD in his account since Mid-January. The source of the funds is a cash deposit in return for a property sale. He will transfer these funds to me this week.

I can demonstrate that the funds came from my father. Do I need to demonstrate how my father got the funds?
