visa refused once. IELTS band 5.5 Is there will be any problem in visa???

I have overall 5.5 band in Ielts. listening5, reading5.5, speaking 6, writing 6
Still i got admission and offer letter. In this month i have apply for visa fulfilling all other requirements excluding my IELTS certificate because i was worried that it is too minimum than requirement. Now my visa is refused. Can someone suggest me that is IELTS is must for visa or not? Beacause i want to reapply for visa.
One of the my refusing point is that to satify that you will leave canada after completing your study?
how will i prove it??

The IELTS is not the problem here.Your home ties is the issue.You have to show some fixed assets you have in your home country ... e.g land and landed properties, shares,business documents,family ties (if you are married).....

plz share ur complete profile then we would be able to tell you that what was the main reason for your refusal. Not returning to home country is a reason that is given to everyone. main reason lies some where else.

2months statement of 80 lakhs rupees
I have not shown any source of income. Actually we are farmers landlords and the busines we are doing are not registered from chamber of commerce having no NTN number so how will justify my source of income to them.

ok your profile is very strong.
(1) as long as u r accepted by a university then ielts score is not a problem
(2) there is no course mismatch so u r fine
(3) you have provide 2 statements .main problem is with the 2nd statement ... because it is of 2 months and money is more than the ist statement.they require a 4 months statement. they have doubt of this big amount of 2 months statement in my opinion. they would have thought that someone had given this amount to you and you didn't show any source of those funds.
My advice is don't apply immediately again. first of all apply for CAIPS NOTES which would cost you around 35 dollars. and you will get the exact reason of your refusal. when you get that then apply for visa again .clear the refusal point which will be mentioned in the CAIPS NOTES. and attach that caips notes to your visa application. and make a strong SOP along with your visa application.
then you will definitely get the visa

What is meant by SOP and CAIPS notes?????????

You should try to get CAIPS note on your case. http://www.caips.ca/ OR http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml

CAIPS note are very informative and give specific reason of rejection. The letter which is usually sent with rejection doesnt give the exact reason of rejection and is mostly misleading. And besides satisfying two above points, also you should prove your tights with your home country i.e property documents ,employment status " job offer, by doing this you will get them believe that you will leave Canada after you finish your study
