My visa got refused based on: 1.Pupose of visit and 2. Financial status and personal assets....216(1) irpr............today i got my caips notes this is what i received>EAP+ college at George Brown. No post-secondary listed.Bank documents does not follow usual format and contains irregularities;does not show providence of funds.I give this document very limited weight as a result. Not statisfaide program of study is logical based on PA's education background ang socioeconomic situation in COR,given that local alternatives would be available.Refused

Based on my read:
  • The visa officer suspected you had faked your bank documents because they had irregularities on them and did not look proper.
  • The bank records did not say where the money came from: the visa officer felt that you may have either put money into your account to make it look like you had enough money or otherwise were lying about your funds.
  • You applied for an English for Academic Purposes course without any other post-secondary plans, such as being admitted to a degree program after completing the EAP program. The visa officer wondered why you were suddenly studying this course based on your previous studies.
  • The visa officer was concerned that you were just picking a program to get into Canada.
  • The visa officer wondered why you had chosen to take this course in Canada when there would have been other options closer to home.
  • The social and economic conditions in your home country are generating a lot of asylum and refugee claims.

Thnks for the response! I think to add and a study plan this time

If you can address the visa officer's concerns. It doesn't seem you've been banned - the refusal letter would clearly tell you.
