hi guys i applied for university cat. in feb 2014 for may intake. visa refused and the reason was " your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of : your qualification, previous studies, gap in studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or future prospectus and plan"

completed BSc hotel management- 62%, MSc hospitality management in UK- 52%, IELTS- 7.5 overall,
applied for Master of Global Management in RRU

visa applied for dependent as well, refusal on his app. was purpose of visit, financial background.

we have GIC, bank loan for tuition fee, + around $10,000 as fixed deposit.

currently working as trainee operations manager in a resort for a year now. salary certificates and offer letter was submitted.

pp: applied for study permit while in uk, refused due to purpose of visit, travel history, home ties. this was in december 2012.

we are planning to reapply. can you please help us with suggestions and advice to what has to be done.

we went through a agency in mumbai. the guy missed out our property evaluation certificate which is worth more than 2C. he missed out my current salary certificate. in the application form the source of our financial status was our GIC, Loan and 15 lacs.

the docs we submitted
my education cert., work exp., offer letter from current employer, ITR from the UK employment for past 2 yrs, SOP and we have some rental properties, so we had our rental agreements submitted.

we live in india. working for a resort and leisure. its a new establishment started in march 2013. we came back to india from uk in march. i joined the concern in april. my husband is working there aswell. he is been working there since the start date.

do you think its difficult for us to get through? what are the chances if i apply first and then my husband applies later once i get the visa, if at all i get it?

, -- you have Masters already in HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT and you JUST started as a TRAINEE. From Canadian point of view you DO NOT need ANOTHER Masters, especially in GLOBAL Management .
Just think : what connections GLOBAL Management MASTERS could have with a recent TRAINEE job?
From Canadian point of view a person recently graduated from Masters program and having 8 months of work on the lowest position possible in no way needs to have another Masters (especially in GLOBAL Management).

And yes, as you just came from UK you do not have strong ties with you home country. No good high paid job (you just started working!!), no business, no your own property I suppose, NOTHING for what you would prefer to go home rather to stay in Canada after graduation by any cost.

Did you show available funds $29330+(10000+4000) living expenses for you and your husband +for return tickets for two? Of course, funds play important role ONLY if your intended course would be in a line with your current study/work/just returned from UK situation. You could have a lot of money and still will not be able to get SP because there is no PURPOSE to get the second Masters.

Actually you have got it wrong. my designation currently is as trainee operations manager, i am next available person after the general manager. as i have masters in hospitality but no experience in operations, my designation is Trainee Operations Manager. they cannot directly appoint me as an operations manager.

as per the course its a general global management course which anyone with management skills in any industry or sector can apply. if you check the course details it mentions that it is for anyone who is willing to learn the management in global prospectus.

and for the finance. we do own four properties net worth of 2crores. we have rented out the properties and we have a monthly income as rent for Rs 30000. and for tution, living and other finance we have shown all together of $29330+ 10000+4000+12000= $55,330 apprx. for both of us.
