Visa refused 1st time

Hi,

I recently applied for canada student visa but got refused with following reasons:

1. You have not satisfied me that you would leave canada at the end of your stay,in reaching this decision i iconsider several factors
----including purpose of visit
2: your proposed studies are not reasonable in the light of one or more of your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment , language abilities or your future plans.

Really got tensed with this news given by my agent.
I am having Bca and MBA degrees and i opted for Marketing management coop program in Sheridan institute Toronto.

Now i don't know what to do? Shall i re apply but what documents to include before reapplying?
Please help.

u already have a MBA degree u should atleast go for a masters degree if not doctoral .....ur selected course does not seem to be a logical progression of ur studies.....will u go for a diploma in ur home country after completing MBA? this is ur agents mistake who suggested u college level course as he gets commission from college per student.

When and where did you applied? When did you get the pp back?

sorry to hear about your denial, this is right, going for a diploma after Masters does make much sense. you should have gone for atleast a masters degree.

Neways through which consultant did you apply, and did you apply under SPP or general. I guess a strong SOP could have helped in case you you did not put one.

I applied in chandigarh oceanic consultants. yesterday i got a message that application is processed and couriered to you via bluedart and i got no mail and today i got the news of visa refusal from the agent.

i applied under SPP. but what to do now? What to do to show them i will leave canada after study and is it necessary to attach that document that i will leave in new application?

Hi Saini

there are a few members on this forum who got their visa for a diploma despite the fact that they had done their Masters.

IMO you should not loose heart, you should apply again making sure that you have a Strong SOP in place and be able to convince the VO that you will return back after studies.

wrong advice...ru a consultant? OP should try for another masters.... agreed there r people who r lucky but taking that chance second time is not a very wise thing to do. so i suggest u apply for a masters degree even if u go for PG diploma chances r low. and yes its a very good idea to write a strong SOP.....first and foremost get rid of ur consultant what ever he said was a lie if he asked u to apply for diploma....all information u need in available online no need for consultants......slow down a bit dont have to rush and apply for the second time.

it is not very difficult to search for universities...u can just put "universities in canada " in google and u will get a lot of universities....spend time on university websites read their application requirements for international students . u can also search by the course ur interested in. keep reading on this forum.....dont panic.....the more u read the more u will understand about the whole procedure.....so give it time......

well visa procedure is just a check list ..u just have to attach documents as per a check list ....since ur indian here is a link for checklist in university category

and mostly all consultants get commission to send students to colleges but not for universities so u will see no consultant will recommend u a university level course(bachelor , masters,phd)

Shall i ask my agent to refund of GIC payment of 10000cad or shall i let that gic account as it is? Will the consultants allow me that?
