Hello everyone,
I'm in need of your suggestions. I applied for a study permit in November and got refuse after a week. I will tell you my background in order for u to understand my case.
- I applied for post graduate program in humber college which requires IELTS 6.5 overall, and I get 6.0. So I have to complete EAP first. I've already get letters of acceptance.
- my parents are permanent resident of US, but they own a jewelry store and lands in my home country. I also provided evidence when I applied.
- I have around 60000USD in my bank account.
For me the problem I have found out is I didn't provide my parents sponsor letter and income statement.
So what do you think about my case? What seems to be my problem? What are the documents I should attache for the second try? Am I eligible for Canadian student visa?
thank you for your answers and suggestions.

Thank you for suggesting. SOP is statement of purpose? I also applied with it and stated that I will come back with the degree to improve my parents business. Can you give me the sample of sources of income? Can it be patents or sale invoices? I applied with agent in my country.

I can show my parents bank account, but it is in US bank. Will this discredit my case? Do I need any supports beside income statement I made by myself?

Income tax return that your parents are paying to US government. They have nothing to do that where your parents reside . They just want to make sure that you donot suffer financially in canada as your parents are there to support you .

My parents are working part time, so their income is not enough by their work. But they own a business in my home country which have enough income to support me. Which source of income should I provide? The problem is I don't know they will accept the income statement i do by myself or not. I know it's complicated.
