Hi All,

I was denied US student visa twice in my home country before i moved to Canada (No denied stamp on my passport). In my SINP application i forgot to say "yes" to the refusal question and i was nominated.

In my PR application, i explained that i was denied twice. Will this be a problem? Misrepresentation or Discrepancies in SINP and PR application? I have received my file number already and waiting for MR... Pls advise.

If you provided a LOE, you should be fine.
Okay, thanks. And if i will write a LOE which i don't think is necessary, should it be to CIC and SINP at the same time?

Sorry about that but i was also forget to mention US refusal in SINP but notified SINP office before receiving Nomination. I personally suggest you to take an appointment in SINP office and explain your mistake in front of SINP officer because you made mistake in SINP forms your PR form are all correct but it just a suggestion. Personally i don't think so it will effect a lot in PR process but its immigration process we can't say anything.

Best of Luck

you no need to book appointment as it is not big issue (because u already mentioned in federal level so can b count error not
a misrepresentation ).you just need to send sinp a call or email.Email will b good for u as if any future problem can give u strong proof
that when u got remember , you immediately informed to sinp. just wait for sinp's response after sent them mail.if they dont send any reply
leave it. as you already mentioned them by email.(keep print out for safe side).

THIS IS MY PERSONAL VIEW I MIGHT B WRONG SO CORRECT ME IF I M WRONG.
good luck.

What is the level of details that I should mention in the LOE. Should I just mention the refusal, or should I specify which US immigration clause was used to refuse my visa? Do I need to attach/include US visa refusal letter in the LOE?
