Visa Refusal but my parents got it :(

We applied for the canadain visa online as a family ( My Parents and 3 daughters all above 20) on the 7th of may. few days back we got letters of refusal when my parents got the passport request. reasons:

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

Your travel history
Your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence
Purpose of visit

The thing is when we applied online they request such documents from the sponsor only my dad, we were requested to upload two applications + passport + photo .. thats it, there were no space to upload anymore documents. we will apply again but dont know what to provide in specific and what are the chances to get the visa. Were born in UAE and we live there but originally from yemen.

we have been to canada in 2008. Uk in 2012 and other countries. please advice

If you wish to attach more documents while applying online- scan them into ONE file and attach that file where they ask.

What is your purpose to travel to Canada as a WHOLE family? For how long do you want to stay in Canada?

Will apply in person this time. Were going for a relative wedding then tourism in canada and usa besides my close friend is joining us and she go5 the visa as well and her name is in our travel itinerary . We provided the invitation letter but it didnt work. Were staying for 40 days

Well 40 days for wedding is too long. How long it takes; a week? And then 6 weeks of travelling? What your sisters do in home country that they can leave it so easely fo almost 7 weeks? What kind of "ties" are they? They same with you parents. So VO decided your sisters did not have strong ties as well as you parents but in terms of your parents your sisters left at home could be their strong ties.

Were all students so were going in the summer holiday. The main purpose is tourism then wedding plus were going to usa for tourism purpose as well so 40 days for both countries. We went to canada in 2008 and stayed 40 days.!!

2008 case is not relevant ANY MORE.

So how long is supposed to be a trip in Canada then?
