Visa reapply consideration letter

My visa is rejected under A(11) as I have not specified my earlier US visa rejection for visitor visa. I got confused as I was applying for Canadian study permit and not tourist. Please help me with the points to note in my visa denial appeal letter.

So on the question on page 4 of the application that says "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory?" you were confused and said no?

Were you prohibited for 1 or 5 years from applying again?

You cannot appeal a denial of a visa like this unless you are requesting judicial review at the Federal Court.

No I was not banned for 5 years.
I am reapplying for Canada visa but suggest points to be included in letter of appeal

There is no letter of appeal. I assume you mean a letter you are including in your new application?

The visa officer will want to know why you answered no to this question:

"Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory?"

when you had a US visa refusal.

Considering how the question says "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit..." that's not a particularly good answer, but I guess it's yours. Were you honestly confused that because the visas were different you didn't need to declare the refusal?

Then that's what you'll need to go with. There is nothing you can add to that other than you honestly thought that the request to declare any visa or permit refusal didn't apply in your case.
