I have not noticed any PPR from London office in this month(October), i am afraid that London office may suffer from the same problem of last year where they were running out of visas due to quota limits for 2010 and they suspended the PPR issuance from almost October 2010 to January 2011. are we going to face the same delima ????? Do you agree guys????Please give your feedback.

Also London, as with any visa office, are resourced for their quota. If they have completed all their quota after only 9 months then they must have been working very hard?

I personally doubt they have met their visa quota yet.

Wayne.

NOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (((((Cough** Cough** Chokes....))))

So guys, anyone....is it a fact or fiction. Visa Offices have Quota???? :o

Visa target for London office is 17500 cases
Till now they have issued 10405 Visas.
84% of the candidates were successful.

As CHC is writing clearly in their replies that they have split the quota in four quarters of the year so visas are being issued throughout the year.
BUT
People from Subcontinent and hot countries dont like to complete the landing formalities in Winter.

Hi Salman,

I got the report in the website from the link:
http://www.data.gc.ca/default.asp?lang=En&formid=FD6F93ED-6249-42A4-AC30-5A1A7AA48389&xml=F36C86A9-85F5-454E-835A-5C534A9E942E&resource=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cic.gc.ca%2Fopendata-donneesouvertes%2Fdata%2F000009-eng.xls&formid=FD6F93ED-6249-42A4-AC30-5A1A7AA48389
I beleive the 10,405 Visas issued from 16,000 is based to records in 1st July 2011. That means within 6 months they issued around 65% or in other words 1734 Visas issued per month. If they completed in that rate, it means that now 17341 Visas issued or they just reached the cap of 16,000.
That is only calculations !!!
I hope they still issuing visas or CIC increased the visa quota for London.

I am stunned by the stats for MI-1 with only a 17% approval rate!! WHY would it be so low last year?

One plus from me for your source mentioning and good comments.

I agree with you ashrafashraf, as of now it seems that London office reduces the rate of issuing visas and this indicates that they even reached the quota or about to reach it. I expect any time that London completely stops issuing any VISA's till January 2012.
We need to update here any correspondence from London that finally support/deny our thoughts so that guys here who are waiting PPR can plan their Landing instead of just freezing and waiting for their VISA’s with no hope of getting it.
