Visa processing time

How long will it take my application to visitor's visa to process? I want to know the maximum limit. Also would my being a Pakistani affect my visa application processing time?

Can i also please ask you this: On the check list of documents that i need to submit it says i need to give a photocopy of my current immigration status: If my country of residence differs from the country of citizenship listed on my passport I must provide the legal status proof in my country of residence. I am residing in UAE because i'm working here. Can you please tell me what should be given as proof for this purpose?

I have used this website from the start you see.I have checked many times but this isn't clear to me. Thanks for replying though.
