VISA processing.. Any way to get it urgent ?

Hello guys,

I saw CIC has increased the time of processing Visa application also now its saying 22 days before it was 17 days, and I booked my ticket if I did not get any answer from CIC about my Visa, is there any way we can take our passport to CIC or any where to show them the booked ticket so they can stamped the Visa as soon as possible. ?

Please advise if any one has same experience. ?

What kind of visa are you asking about? You have posted your question in the CEC section of the forum which deals with immigration.

Are you asking about an immigration / PR visa? Or a tourist / visitor visa? Or something else?

Most likely there is no urgent processing available. But again, you'll have to let us know what you've applied for if you want an answer.

I Am July Applicant, I am asking about TRV. I applied online on 23 May at that time processing time was 15 days now its 22 days.

There is no urgent processing available. The posted timelines are estimates only and some applications take longer. There's really nothing you can do but wait.

Keep an eye on "working on applications submitted on" column as that one matters...
I also applied on 26th April online for TRV, got original passport request on 21st May, application closed and approved on 30th May and passport with visa received on 2nd June...

Thats really help Rar, thanks for your sharing experience.
The time you applied I dont think it was this much time (15 days) still you got request for passport after 25 days thats really strange.
Actually I am just worrying because I booked the ticket and If I change the date of travel its cost me $375 . Thats why I dont want to change.
I am looking for option which can expedite the process.

Finally got the request of passport after 18 days. Hope it helps to others.
