Hi ,
I am planning to pay my first sem fees and GIC with my own savings and plus I am taking a loan of 4 lakhs from the bank for the second sem fees , the fees for the second sem will only be 3 lakhs . I am going to do a 1 year hospitality course in seneca. For my visa, is the loan of 4 lakhs going to be less for them to refuse my visa ? should i take a loan higher than 4 lakhs ?
i am planning to apply for my visa in the next 2 weeks through SPP . someone please help and let me know what to do. Since i have the GIC to help me with living expenses there i dont feel the need to take an extra loan , I dont want insufficient funds to be to the reason my visa gets rejected.
I also have a gap of 1 and a half years after completing college because I wanted to save up enough money to help me study abroad , is the gap going to be a problem ? I did not work in the field I studied for only because I need to earn a good amount to help me save up . I did tourism in college and I have got accepted into the same tourism nd hospitality line in Canada because I want to continue studying in the line and get a job according to what i have studied as well.

Hi Leanne,

You need to demonstrate a minimum of $10,000 for one year of living expenses as well as a full-year of tuition. If you have the funds to cover both tuition and living expenses, then you shouldn't worry about that part of your application.

Best,
Matthew
