Visa Office?

In the letter we got it said this:

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

I had this email - so I don't know if London or Canada are processing my application.
Dear Sir/Madam



Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline.



Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.



We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.



We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

but then I emailed and got this response from Ottawa

This is all so confusing. My wife and kids left for CA in feb and I was hoping my approval would be soon.

So they have kept your in Ottawa .Mine is in London and i haven't heard a word since August 2014 when it reached London . Hang in there . There always seems to have movement in March in Ottawa . This is a new thing they are doing be cause London is over loaded .

Join the July outland thread . There are lots who still haven't received anything . The 15 months is not the real time its estimated . Your file will go into in process the next step then DM . It is updated on Tuesdays. I feel your frustration i was hoping my husband was going to be here in Dec now it looks like summer some time.

Looks like from the London outland spreadsheet they have been making Dm on June applicants in the Ottawa visa office .. Chin up it won't be much longer .
