Visa office responsible for USA

Hello folks, I got the below address from the CIC website for the applications from USA. Please let me know if this is right.

Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa

Looks like the Buffalo NY office is closed as of last year.

Which application?.

If it is Federal skilled worker application there are 3 different mail boxes for:

Centralized Intake Office
Sydney, NS

Please check you guide on the CIC website for submitting the application

Yes, my query was for FSWP looks like I have to send to Sydney, NS. This is where I am getting this info: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/new-york.asp

It says "All new economic immigration applications must first be mailed to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada"

There are 2 things to be noted here:-

1) Visa office to be selected based on country of residence
2) All initial application of FSW needs to be submitted at Nova Scotia

For example, I m in dubai, my visa office will be LONDON for processing. But I need to send the intial application to Nova Scotia. In application form, there is 1 field to select visa office which will be LONDON for me.

Since Buffalo office is closed, u need to write new visa office who will be processing the files for US residents.

Using the map below, find your country of nationality or country/territory where you have been legally admitted for one year.
Select the information bubble for your country/territory to find out which visa office is responsible for processing your application.
Indicate this visa office in your application.
Mail your application to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada."

FOR USA,

United States of America
Office responsible for processing applications:

Immigrants: CPP-O
Visitors: Los Angeles, New York
Workers: New York
Students: Los Angeles

So I think I should put CPP-O as visa office for my application and while mailing, I should send it to Nova Scotia. Right?

I wrote CPP-O ONTARIO in the form, from what I could figure out it is the center to process PR apps from the US. I don't think they will cancel my application coz i wrote some different center. Worst case they might send it somewhere else or to my country of citizenship. After all that is all the info we have, nothing is mentioned in the guide or anywhere online except that link which says CPP-O handles PR apps from US and all old US apps have also been transferred to it.

I have filled CPP-O and would be sending my form with it.
