Hi All,

I am aware of the job search visa after Masters.

My pure intention is to finish masters and try to find a job and leave if job not found, how do I explain this the VO to obtain a student visa in my SOP.

My mother stays alone in my home country which is true as well could that be used as a reason to return if job not found.

Should I be straight forward and honest in my interview ?

What is a better way to approach this ?

Please note that I am only talking about a job relevant to my Masters and not any job.

Thank You

Other will comment but not sure saying up front your intention is to stay in Canada as part of your study permit application given a PGWP is a complete separate application as you probably know that has to be applied for after completing your studies.

To obtain a study visa you need to show your course is relevant to your current qualifications, any work experience and long term career goals in your home country plus intent to return to home country.

Starting out with a proposal that implies your intention is to seek a job in Canada even if it is your intention to eventually apply for a PGWP post study might not be the best approach as could imply that is your sole reason for study in Canada and not the actual study part to improve/add to your qualifications for when you return home..

As for being honest in any interview sure that is the only way to go and any VO would likely expect any applicant to want to plan for a PGWP but as said try not to make it sound as though that is the prime objective in applying for a study permit. Same applies to someone thinking of using study permit as a means to to PR.

Hi,

I intend to apply for student visa but I dont have any property to show as proof of return, I do have a house but its not registered with government, it can be registered only once any government scheme comes to get these type of property, nothing until then, we do pay tax on it, its on my fathers name.

Any advice or suggestions ?!

Thanks
