hello all, i have a quire actually i have informed embassy abt my husband marriage fraud to get Canadian visa. Yesterday i received a call from embassy and they just confirmed my birthday, first and last name and my CNIC. Plz tell me what does that mean, r they investigating abt the fraud

Could you elaborate? What actually was the fraud? How did you communicate with Canadian embassy and what documents you submitted as evidence to support your statement? Most probably they have started their preliminary investigation. What else did they ask from you?

Actually last year, I got married. At the time of marriage my husband has applied for Canadian immigration but he did not inform embassy about his changed status as per immigration rules. We called him again & again to inform embassy that he is married but he denied. In August, he left for Canada showing himself single. After my husband left for Canada, he started demanding that we should cancel our marriage certificate and make new one with marriage dates around December 2015. So that there is going to be no problem for my husband in Canada as he has shown himself single and got the visa. We rejected his demand because that’s illegal and we have already submitted my marriage certificate to NADRA office. Plus, I was expecting at the time and cancelling marriage certificate can be mark on my baby’s identity.
So i informed embassy and attached my marriage certificate, baby birth certificate and marriage pics. i also attached one page doc mentioning my husb date of birth, passport num, visa application num. So they called me and asked abt my details
