born and brought up in Dubai
Applied for mcs in Kennedy college
Married 2years back
Father and bro in Dubai
50k CAD statement shown of father

But refused
1.would not leave Canada after completion of study
2.no travel history
3.not bonafy student

So wat to do now
Really hurt

Seems quite unfair. Where did you have your work experience though? In Pakistan or Dubai? And where did you do your BSc from?

Also, what's the exact program in Kennedy College that you got into? Can you give us a link to it?

Well work experience in pak and done bcs from paki
and applied from Pak too

Yes it had tie with prior experience and studies
If it does nt have any relation then it must be a reason of Rejection
But it's not

I'm wondering why they said you're not a bona fide student. I mean, if your program is a real program, an accredited program, why would you not be considered a bona fide student?

I'm a little confused, also -- you did your bachelor's in computer science? (I.e. does BCS = Bachelor's in Computer Science?)

Yes bcs 4years from ucp and applied for mcs

Ask your college for deferral and try applying again for January with a beefed-up application. Write a strong statement of purpose explaining exactly what this program offers that you can't get in Pakistan and how it will improve your employment opportunities in Pakistan. A friend of mine was applying to Canada for an MBA program, and he literally attached the brochures for the LUMS and IBA MBA programs and showed how the program he wanted to attend in Canada was different (i.e. what courses they offered that weren't available in Pakistan). My friend got the Study Permit in two months from Islamabad.

Get a recommendation letter from a former professor and/or a prospective employer in Pakistan. Prep your college for the visa process being a tough one and ask them to back you up as much as they can.

Essentially what I'm saying is: use your imagination and throw everything you've got at them so that they can't possibly come up with a reason for refusal.

2.no travel history again no sense
3.not bonafy student if am wrong, u were out of those students who didn't paid their fee in advance, please correct me here- if yes, then its a logical reason how ever, fathers statement is also an issue these days, rare students got their visa based on blood relation sponsor ships, a minor mistake in showing bit extra funds or over funded bank accounts or excessive amount of financial funding is also an issue...but never stop knocking, keep walking keep knocking, ALLAH is with u , and surely he will reward you against your efforts

Can I know the Canadian Equivalency (according to WES) of the following qualifications by British Computer Society (BCS) ?

1. Certificate in IT (https://www.bcs.org/category/18082)
2. Diploma in IT (https://www.bcs.org/category/18083)
3. Professional Graduate Diploma in IT (https://www.bcs.org/category/18084)

Anyone who has received the ECA report with any Qualification from BCS, please enlighten me.
