Visa got rejected.Need urgent help !

recently my Visa got rejected..............i applied on 1st november(with pre medical done) and the file was under processing from 2nd november and the status changed on 23rd november (evening) and got my Passport with Refusal letter on 25th November (evening)

Reasons for rejection :-
1)you have not demonstrated that you are sufficiently well established in your country of residence

2)Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of:your qualification,previous studies,employment,level of establishment,other educational opportunities available in India or Canada,language abilities ,or your future prospects and plans.

Documents submitted by me
1) Letter of acceptance from Northern Alberta institute of technology(NAIT)
2) Course: as i have completed my 10+2 with commerce so i took admission in Business administration (Diploma for 2 years)
3) IELTS score : overall 6 and individually listening:7, speaking:6.5, writing:5.5 and reading:5
4) Student Loan of 9.5 lakhs, bank statement of around 1 lakh and other savings.
By adding all these the total money was around 42200 CAD$ which is good enough for SPP and yes
we have good enough property too
5) I paid fees for 1st semester i.e.5870$
6) showed ITR's of last 3 years,my educational documents and everything (but yes i didnt attach any document of my property because my agent told me that u have sufficient funds so there is no need)
my mother was sponsoring me
and yes i applied through Student Agent and i am from Punjab,India......i submitted my file in CHC Chandigarh.

I am badly frustated at the moment.................there was no Gap in my studies.
i really dont know where something went wrong or what !

Hey..harry..........Really sorry to hear about your rejection.......

I think nobody here is an expert...its all personal opinions on this forum.......

In my opinion:
for reason (1):- You should have prepared a Financial summary in which all the details i.e. your property,and your liquid money holdings would hav been mentioned.

for reason(2):- I guess it might be your IELTS score(language abilities)...you can give it again and try for a better score...anyways wats your +2 score??


I think you should think practical right now and prepare for applying again.....consult a good consultant and prepare a SOP next time which would explain your intentions and your study plan and also your future plans.........

anyways brother don't worry......which consultant prepared ur file?..i m too frm punjab and have applied at CHC chandigarh...

hmmmmm..............well see i am financially sound but i guess it might be my IELTS score but my score is valid and i m eligible to apply under SPP.
IELTS Band Requirement For Admission To A Postsecondary Diploma or Certificate Program

* Minimum Overall Score of 6.0
* Minimum Reading Score : 5.0
* Minimum Writing Score : 5.0
* Minimum Speaking Score : 5.0
* Minimum Listening Score : 5.0

thats what i have got. one should not be having less than 5 bands in any module if he/she is applying for diploma.
my Score in 10th standard 63% and 55% in +2

i have two years education gap and after that i start ACCA. now i am tring to go Canada. is there any problem??? financially solvent and all papers are prepared according to the requirements.

first of all, i dont think ielts score is a problem if u r doing a diploma.

it is your previous studies that's a problem, ur percentage in 12 grade is very low. i am not sure with that percentage u can get admission directly at a canadian university.

why 2 year diploma, why not 4 year BBA degree? BBA degree is available in India and u can persue it at a much lower cost.

what about your home ties? what do your parents do? what are your siblings doing?

1. Things could have turned out better if u got admitted into a good univ.
2. you need to score atleast 6.5 band overall in order to get an admisison at a cad univ.

but problem is, even a decent univ in cad requires aleast 60% in 12 grade from india.

that's why u got a second refusal reason. your educational credentials are not up to the mark.

Hy albin,
you will not allow to work off campus while studying lsbf because it is not in the list of institutes participating in off campus work permit.

I know overall 6 is the requirement(for SPP),but a better score would have surely made a better impression of you as a student....the score only added to the problem of your low score in +2 and you choosing a diploma instead of a degree.....

Its not the college that would be a problem in regard to ur IELTS(as tution fee is almost double from that of a domestic one)but you have to convince the visa officer that you are a genuine student...and you can only show that by good scores.....i think all the things added to a negative decision(low scores in +2,ielts,diploma)..+ the mood of the visa officer..

Now for the future:-
1.improve ur ielts....as u can take it any number of times.(as u cant do much abt ur +2 scores)
2.take admission in a degree prgrm instead of a diploma
3.most importantly include a Statement of purpose which should clearly state tht why you hav chosen the particular course,and about the future plans in india after ur program.

I'd suggest you to write a strong statement of purpose.

In that time , i join my family business to help my father.because my dad wish that after him i maintain and flurish it . i ake a SOP and write down it in the SOP. Any statement is needed to proof that i join these 2 years with my dad?

If possible , you must include some paper/ formal proof of your involvement in your family business to cover time spent during this Gap.

Everything was good, but try to show them that you are financially well set in india (They mean show more), also change your course and get into some other..see something more valuable that is worth giving visas.
