Hello
I have cleared the stage 1 by receiving a confirmation saying that my docs have been sent from Nova scotia to Buffalo. Now I need to submit all of my supporting docs by Sep 6th,2009

I had applied while I was in US however currently I am in India and due to my travelling job,I am not sure where I will be when I am called for interview/asked for passport.

Can some of the seniors help me in understanding the following:

a.what all issues I can get into due to this?Is it advisabl to ask for a file transfer to India.I am though don't want to getinto any of those transfer issues

b.at what stage do we need to send in our passports or go for a physical appearence?Again in how much time can one expect to be asked for passport etc once all the documents have been submitted to Buffalo

c.t what stage are the medicals required?

Please help seniors

Rgds

New Delhi seems faster than Buffalo at the moment. However, New Delhi (at least from what i got from the posts here), holds on to the passport for a little while but Buffalo (at least going by the old method) allows you to get PR stamp in one day by going to the visa office personally. Delhi is advantageous if you are looking to get PR faster. Buffalo is advantageous if you looking not to give up your passport for too long. Remember, you cannot courier your passport from India (indian law).

Can anyone else add to this.
