hello,

My sister is a PR holder she is coming this summer to canada she is pregnant. My question is:

can she write an invitation letter (while still outside canada)? for our mother to accompany her to canada and stay with my sister during her pregnancy period and after delivery. Basically help my sister in her recovery.

is this acceptable by CIC?

thank you,

This cause would not be acceptable in terms of purpose to travel. I suggest your mother to get a tourist visa on her own without any invitation letter.

Visitor visa in general does not need an invitation letter. However, she would still need to be eligible. Further reading:
