We (myself, my husband and 1 kid) moved to Canada in May 2016 on a PR. I am expecting a baby which is due in December 3rd and we are planning the delivery in India. In that case, we will be traveling to India in October mid of this year. I believe we should be able to arrange a passport and birth certificate of the newborn baby within 15 days of birth i.e. by approx 15-30th December. My husband will be back to Canada in December end to resume his job, however, me and both kids will stay back till the time we have the Visa/PR arranged for my newborn. Realistically I will have to fly back with both the kids (will be accompanied by parents) in beginning of March 2018.
We really need to ensure that newborn's visa/PR will be arranged in those 2 months timeline since I am currently working and will need to be in Canada in March 2018 by all means.
I have been reading on different forums where people have got their kid's visitor visa's and/or TRP (Temporary Resident Permits) rejected and the only option was to sponsor the child for PR by 1 parent who has to be in Canada. And sponsoring the kid for PR I believe is a long time-consuming process which will throw our timelines apart.
If anyone has any suggestion regarding this please do suggest.

If you are unable to arrange visitor visa for your parents, then spend this money to hire somebody(any mid-age Indian lady). The hospitals in Canada are really good and you will be fine. We did the same thing and I am happy with my decision.

several people posted earlier having done that and having the visa for the newborn rejected so the husband has to come back to Canada and apply to sponsor the baby which takes a long time, so you might not be able to come back in march 2018 with the baby (if the visa is rejected)

you might choose to have the baby here, apply for a Canadian passport and travel afterwards which is safer if you do not want to risk being separated from your husband for a long time
